Finally shipped with a Monday arrival date.
 
Mine was supposed to be delivered today but looks like it was never picked up by FedEx :( They created the shipping label on the 29th.

Most companies use the same software. Order is processed, label created, tracking number assigned, customer notified. You get the email with tracking information before the shipper gets the paperwork in the warehouse.

The email I got said it was being prepared to ship. It did not say shipped. Then gave the tracking number.

Same here - Ordered 27th, label created on 29th - Due for delivery on 1st (today). All I still see is "label created".

Mine was delayed as well. "Shipping Label Damaged Error" It took a day for them to fix it but it's now moving!
 
Mine was ordered on the 27th via USPS. It stated Pre-Shipment that day. Today, it is STILL i "pre-shipment", so I called MapNSoft customer service. (the number is in the FAQ section).

The very polite gentleman I spoke with told me that many orders were stuck this way, waiting for FedEx and USPS to come pick the items up. I very respectfully suggested that they put the stuff into someone's pick up and drive them there.

Sorry but the story does not ring true. Why are some getting through and others sitting? Why did BOTH FedEx and USPS not show up to pick up the items? Nahhh.. too many inconsistencies.

Unfortunately, there ain't nuttin to be done about it but wait. On the bright side, it's only a map update. Besides, I can't drive over there to pick it up.. the border is closed....... :P

True... All you can do is wait.

I'm just a bit irritated that I paid for the expedited 2 day delivery only to see a message of "shipping label created" 4 days later.
 
I placed my order on Thursday (FedEx ground) and it shipped on Friday. So far it has traveled from California to Texas with a scheduled delivery of Monday.

Yea, that's a very old one. It may not have ever been updated. Guess you'll find out soon enough.

It is gathering dust - reply from Customer Service:

"Thank you for contacting us today, we are happy to assist you. Unfortunately it seems there has been an error on the shipping providers end, and they were unable to pick up the packages on time. We are terribly sorry for this delay and we can understand your concerns. If you do not have an update on the tracking information by the end of the day please let me know so it can be escalated to see what information we can obtain.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns at this time.

Technically, you are getting 2 day transit time. Just that it took four days to start the transit. Probably still save you a day or two.
 
WOO HOOOO.. we have lift off! Of course, given the combined speed and efficiency of USPS and Canada Post, I hope to have this update before the next update is issued!

If you look at the previous post, it hasn't even achieved lift off yet... I'm just irritated that I paid extra for "expedited" delivery and wasn't even notified of the snafu until I inquired about it.
 
I pulled the trigger and bought it after reading so many getting it. I don't normally pay extra to get things quicker but it was only $7 more for 2 day Fedex. But I was feeling my frugal self saying no, go back, when a paypal $20 discount popped up if I got their credit card! So I got the map update card for $22 with 2 day shipping! WOOHOO!

Keep an eye on it... If the tracking stays on "Label Created" for more than a day, you may want to look into it. FedEx hasn't even picked mine up yet.
