You know... I've never bothered with the button on the mirror - even though I have BlueLink. I may try it sometime.

You are missing a lot. BlueLink is the absolute best way to enter a destination while in the car.\
Are you sure you still have BlueLink. It is a pay service for you.

I used AA twice. I don't get it. I keep my phone on my belt. If I decide to use nav, with AA I have to take out the phone, connect a cable, start the app,once all done and going, the next turn does not show in the HUD. If I want a POI, I just push a button on the mirror.

You may be right some time in the future but to work well it has to be wireless and better integrated. Maybe next generation.

it takes me 5 sec tops to plug in the phone (usb-c so no need to orient the plug) and plop it on the cubby in front of the armrest then hit the aa icon on the car.

Most never had a bug. Seems model specific but not enough info to draw a conclusion.

I can say the display on AA is not nearly as crisp as the native

Mine had issues (roads disappeared when zooming in) and had to contact customer service to create a ticket. I received an update this morning, they have shipped me a new SD card and should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully it solves the issue I'm having.

Put your Android Phone in Developer Mode and you can change the resolution for AA higher. Makes a big difference.

If I remember correctly, you can put your Android phone in "Developer Mode" to increase Android Auto resolutions

just updated touch and everything seems to be in order... someone reported in another thread that an earlier build would not switch day/night but seems to be fine on this build. nav graphics are updated but too bad won't be using it. its frustrating to enter destination to say the least compared to aa and took like 5min to find out how to stop the navigation. had to specifically say "cancel route". this is just testing for few min after the upgrade so there might be more that i'm not aware of yet. it would have been nice to have an option to auto launch aa when the phone is connected instead of touching the icon on the car. all in all not sure if its worth $35 though if you already have aa or cp but if you don't have them its a no brainer.

Touch screen? Does your version have the button on the bottom right that says "Pause Route"? If so, just touch and hold it a couple of seconds to cancel.

While I like this update I am constantly having issues using voice control. It can't recognize 90% of what I say no matter how slow and clear I say it. Any what it does hear is not even close to what I am actually saying. Anyone else run into this?

In a perfect world you could run the AA media center (Spotify, Google Music, ect) and the native GPS nested in the home screen.

Making calls and requesting navigation. Example: Call Robin..... and it hears Call Dave at Work? No, call Robin. Call Tom's Cell? No, call R O B I N.. Calling Claire! This has been happening almost daily since my update.
