Update for you Canadian's just talked to MnSoft as it has been over a month since it shipped (May 28th). They informed me of the expected delay and that it could be another 2 weeks. So 1.5+ months via USPS.

I just received mine today... Los Angeles to Vancouver took about a month. I ordered back on May 28th. The stupid thing is, I got stuff from Ali Express in two weeks from China. Makes no sense at all

Well, that's disappointing.... the upgrade took me 15 mins which was a lot quicker that I thought but FLAC is giving me a lot of head scratching. I couldn't play all the test files. Seems like it only likes the 4 and 5 channel files. It doesn't play the 5.1 or 7.1 files. Channel separation is horrible. The rear channels play through the front.

The FLAC music files I do have won't play. Both the 5.1 and 2.0 files get skipped over. Not sure what the secret sauce is for FLAC files. My 2.0 files are 44.1/24 which is pretty standard. Bitrate is 1776kbps which isn't too high. I'm not sure what the secret sauce to get them to play. Not that it matters anymore... lol... looks like I'll have to stick with DVD-A if I want proper channel separation.

The rest of the update is good, the screen looks sharper, MP3 player screen looks a lot more modern, etc...

Thats why I did not hear my sub during the test files playback, bummer, its missing the .1, sorry for building up your hopes, you live and you learn, at least the update wasn't a total waste. I think the best part of the update is the cloud based routing, which requires bluelink services.

The weird thing is, I can't even get my 2.0 FLAC files to play, none of my music did. Only some of the test files. OGG files played more consistently but those were treated as stereo as well. I even put some movies on the USB, not all of them played and the ones that did came out in stereo even though they were AC3/DTS. I think it's safe to say, anything on USB plays back in stereo and you need a DVD to get 5.1 which is a bummer.

I hope they fixed this in the new G80/GV80/G90 models since they don't have an optical drive and I'm about a year away from trading in. If they market it as discrete 5.1 or 7.1, what source are they using for playback to get that?

Hope everyone who got this update also completes the survey if they send you one. I listed the issues I am having and I got an email back saying they will reach out to me. Hopefully if enough respond with the current issues they will correct them.

Yes, I reminded them my street is not shown. They think I live in a 500 acre field with no access.

Agent told me that a over the net version is coming
@ end of July & will probably be free .

I left him my email & they will advise when available.
Will need to buy a new 32 Gig SD card in order to install this update.
My car is a 2016 3.8 AWD Luxury touch screen version & I am in Calgary Canada.

Any Canadian owners have any issues with the most current MNSOFT updates?

Your lucky, i got an update yesterday that mine was BACK in Los Angeles after 25 days in the wind. Also in BC.

I just updated the navigation software on my 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Ultimate. I have two questions.

1. I subscribe to the Blue Link Connected Care. After updating, the Blue Link "Driving Information" selection is gone. I used to find Driving Information by selecting Blue Link services from the main screen. Driving information isn't very useful, but it would provide info on Driving Time, Engine Idle Time, Speed Distribution, Deceleration/Acceleration. It is not the same thing as Vehicle Diagnostics. Has anybody else lost "Driving Information" after updating? The lady at Hyundai seems to think I should still have this feature and suggests that I reboot the head unit.
   
   
2. I am wondering if I have the the cloud-based server routing for directions. I believe the brochure said that with the new navigation software if you subscribe to Blue Link "connected services" then you have the cloud-based server routing. I have Blue Link "Connected Care" not Connected Services." Should I have cloud based server routing or would I need the "Guidance" Blue Link package. The lady at Blue Link was not able to answer this question.

Looks kinda sketchy right now, only seems to want to install for the Korea area. You have to go into settings and change to your region after the install. Downloading now so that part works. Not going to bother to install this one because I just installed the latest update. Probably when the next one rolls out, I'll use the updater.

What did you copy to the SD Card? The entire directory structure starting with HYUNDAI MOTOR GROUP?

copied all files to root of sd...didnt bother with the main directory it saved it in
