  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I've noticed a faint hum from the L/R when coasting around 40mph. Took the Hyundai tech with me and he noticed it as well. Although it is faint, when going down hill it seem a little more pronounced. SA said it get here in about a month. I'll update if anything changes.

Wow. Differentials are normally one of those things you don’t ever need to worry about. Leaking seals and changing out the fluid if it gets wet are about all you normally need to worry about. Sorry. Hope it’s not too expensive. A diff rebuild can run a couple of grand, but you want an expert on it. Want to get the gear lashing 100% right.

I’m more shocked at the cost for a new rear view mirror. I assume that includes the lane keep cameras as well? (My mirror is loose too, but I’d just shim that sucker.)

Differential and mirror issue are getting covered under warranty. The rear view mirror issue is just a cover ($14.74) that's loose or has broken tabs.
