The choice in tires will have a big impact in the ride comfort. Even staying with the same size tires but going to a different brand or different performance rating can make a difference in ride comfort.
Typically tires with a deeper tread depth are more comfortable than those without. Those are typically found in touring and all season tires. Tirerack has ratings on tire ride and comfort.

Good luck putting 20” wheels on a 2013 (first generation) Genesis.
My opinion is that it negatively impacts the ride. That’s often the case. Sorry if you have no sense of humor."Schtick"? Really?
Maybe instead of your "schtick" you could help a fellow member with a question. I thought that was what I was trying to do.
Traffic on this forum is low enough why scare people away?
Lots of people have put 20s on the 1st gen including me. Is ride comfort affected? Maybe a little but I like the sportier feel.
