  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

if anyone done this, does it hamper the ride?

Does a bear poop in the woods?
We should really change your username to PMSErnie.

The choice in tires will have a big impact in the ride comfort. Even staying with the same size tires but going to a different brand or different performance rating can make a difference in ride comfort.

Typically tires with a deeper tread depth are more comfortable than those without. Those are typically found in touring and all season tires. Tirerack has ratings on tire ride and comfort.

thanks all

You do your schtick and I’ll do mine.

Good luck putting 20” wheels on a 2013 (first generation) Genesis.

"Schtick"? Really?
Maybe instead of your "schtick" you could help a fellow member with a question. I thought that was what I was trying to do.

Traffic on this forum is low enough why scare people away?

Lots of people have put 20s on the 1st gen including me. Is ride comfort affected? Maybe a little but I like the sportier feel.

Buddy of mine has 20s on his 13 rspec. Fits just fine. He has 255/40 all the way around I believe

My opinion is that it negatively impacts the ride. That’s often the case. Sorry if you have no sense of humor.

lol thanks all...lets end that discussion now..I know it would make the ride harsher but to what degree is I guess the question but even that is very subjective thing to answer.
