  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have secured the deal on my 2012 R-spec Platinum and Black. Has the trunk mat and ipod cable. I am saying goodbye to my 2011 Sonata 2.0 Turbo.
The Sonata was a great car and I was well pleased with it but we need a bigger car. And I needed more power :D

My wife drives a 2011 Genesis everyday to work and now, after seeing her Genesis for over a year, one of her co-workers is picking up his R-Spec on Monday or Tuesday. Hyundai is growing and growing and growing. Congrats on your new car.

I picked uip R Spec last week from Nick Mayer Hhyundai. It was a very pleasant experience .I used internet and worked with Tryee Evans, fellow south sider. We agreed on trade and OTD price. Traveled to Phoenix and picked up car. No changes or tricks. Delivery included wheel caps and emblems, tinted windows and paint sealant applied.

When I was younger I was too busy working my ass off to have a mid-life crisis. Now that I am member of the octogenarian group I'M going to give a try. Wish me luck...

Car is great. lots of power on tap. Lots of features to learn about. This car is loads beter than my Sonata turbo that I traded in.
We used USAA pricing and wound up with a out the door price with tax title and fees of 45500.

Also, got my 2012 R-Spec, platinum/black last Friday. Already as 200 miles on it. It is the most amazing machine I've ever driven and I pinch myself that this is really my car. Had to get used to the driving position -- I traded in a Honda Ridgeline and have always been a Honda Truck/SUV guy -- but I am very impressed with the quality so far. Paid $40,600 when it was all said and done -- used Zag. Tye Henrichs over at Chapman in Scottsdale did a great job, highly recommend.

I've had mine for a little over a month now. I'm getting pretty good at making it do what I want with the traction control off. Like the rest of us with the 5.0 you will soon realize what an incredible thing Hyundai has done making this car.

Congrats... see ya on the track someday :)

Congratulations! The R-Spec Genesis is an awesome car...

here's an extra post! oops

We also traded in our 2011 turbo sonata. Took a beating on the trade-in, but got a good price on the R-spec ($41,500).
My wife loves it, as it is her daily driver.
