  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

It's like private golf courses, they know you are a member of the "no door banging ding" club. (That's a terrible not PC thing to say.)

Nice whip and color!

I admit I do the same thing when I'm out and about. I park next to other nice cars because I know they'll be just as careful as me and don't have to worry about door dings. :drive:

Nice pics. I'm always relieved when I see a nice car next to me, the chances of door dings goes way down.

White looks good on the Genesis I think I'll get white next time!

Definitely true that nice car owners stick together. :p I hate door dings and typically park two states and way and take a flight in to wherever I'm going.

Except when its not a nice car...but an old van that picked you to park next to you, far away in the back of a shopping center.

I'd be worried about kids in a van like that, since they're the least likely to care about your car. If a van full of kids parked next to me while I was still in the car, I'd be tempted to move to a different space.

Tempted nothing. I've done it many times. Worse than kids are old ladies. Especially FAT old ladies. They just give that door a shove. it either reaches the end of the hinge range, or makes contact with the car next to them. And they never look even slightly fazed, that they just did damage to somebody's property.
