  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I finally got my snows on today and I'm glad to confirm that the oem TPMS will auto sense. I purchased the sensors from a Korean importer on ebay for $40 each and they only took 5 days to get here. It took 2-5 minutes of driving before the new sensors registered and displayed the pressure.

Thanks for the update. Care to share your source?

EBay user name was koreapartsnew. Some people had them cheaper but they appeared to have them here in the states and I didn't want to wait weeks for shipping from Korea. I was satisfied with 5 day delivery. They appear to be factory oem. uploadfromtaptalk1424139422721.webp

Yes, I think that is the link I used. They are 433 MHz. The p/n is 52933 3N100.

That link to DHgate is described as "NEW OEM Case for Hyundai Kia TPMS tire pressure sensor tire monitoring sensor". Does that mean that it is just the housing or does it include the Sensor?

For what it is worth. The part I ordered were missing some of the components needed for installation. I believe it was missing the valve and the 'grommet' maybe? The tire shop had the parts on hand and it was about $5 per tire.

Ooops, my bad. I corrected the link the show the proper part which is now $31 a pop.

Wait, hold the phone!! So you have 2 sets of sensors..one for your winter tires and another for your 3 seasons??

I'm was told by my dealer service manager that the car could only detect the one set so I have my winter tires on which do not have sensors..I'm ordering asap

Correct. I have 2 complete sets of 4 sensors. The car auto detects them without any need for "programming".

Just to add I purchased used Hyundai TPMS sensors for ~$20 a piece and the dealer was able to reprogram them for my car (not for auto detect but for Hi-line instead of Lo-line mode)

ordered some from dh gate...not in a rush to get them as i'm overseas anyway..

thanks for posting the thread, I would have just dealt with the annoying alerts until summer
