Got email saying v8 starts at $33K ??

I don't believe this, but I got an email from Hyundai (part of the mailing group for the Genesis) and it says the v8 (actually 375hp) starts at $33K. I had to read it a couple of times, but I still don't believe it.

That's either a mistake or deceiving/misleading advertising...

"375-horsepower" should not be in that sentence...

COOL!! ... Price cutting already.

Maybe someone was using the price sheet Hyundai was passing around at the detroit auto show. V8 starts at $33,600 and loaded $36,600 (ultimate and tech pack). $5,000 price increase in 9 months.

I lean toward ad writer/marketing double-speak. The hyphen (-) in their sentence delineates two separate thoughts.

Yes, they are introducing the 375 hp engine---and, yes, the car does start at $33,000...just not with that engine.
