  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Got rid of the Hyundai "Flying H" emblem and replaced it with the wings. I love the look. Actually ended up using a guitar string (I'm a musician) to take the old emblem off. Worked well. Then peeled the rest of the adhesive off with my fingers and wiped it all with goo gone. After that I cleaned it with windex before placing the new emblem.

There's a few small marks on the bumper, thinking of having it re-sprayed.

I love the "Wings" on these cars.
Mine has them front and back.
Ironically, I saw two yesterday with the lazy H and they look so Hyundai'ish. lol
Congrats.

Looks great!

I saw a Genesis, the same color as mine, the other day, but it had the Flying H on the back.....Sure looked plain and dull to me. I would have liked to stop him and clue him in how much it changes the look of the car.
.

Thanks guys!

I was thinking of adding a hood emblem too but I kind of like the clean look of nothing being on the front. I passed a black Genesis on my way home from work last night on the 118 that looked nice and had the wings. I almost honked but the driver probably would have thought I was crazy.

That's exactly what I said, until I put it on...it looks beautiful, trust me! :D

Congrats ! - Now get one on the Front! -- I like the front one look, even better than the rear!

very nice. I agree with you on the clean front end, and that is why I did not wing the hood

I held the string with a pair of pliers in each hand probably 18" or so apart. I gently pushed the string under the edge of the H and began sawing back and forth with the string while gently pulling back so the string was putting pressure against the back side of the logo while I was sawing and not the paint. When I got the logo off and peeled the chunks of leftover adhesive off and cleaned the surface all up I had no paint damage.

I used braided fishing line, soft enough so it won't hurt your paint, tough enough to get the job done!
