GPS No Sound

I have a 2010 with Tech and for the second time the GPS sound has stopped working. Yes I know where the settings are and volume adjustment, but no matter where it is set there is no sound during a trip.

This is the second time it happened, first time they replace whole unit under warranty. Any suggestions besides having whole unit replace agin?

There are various threads around here about losing all sound. My radio (XM, FM, AM doesn't matter) would lose sound. The displays would keep up, song titles would change, but no sound. Then I'd try the GPS. No sound there either. This is a known flaw. Take it in and make them fix it.
So I don't know if you're losing ALL sound or only on the GPS. If only on GPS then that is something I'm not familiar with.

GPS only but found the issue. With map on press controller down (Tech Model). Options appear including muting the GPS system voice. Someone had changed this to off re-set to on and problem went away.
