  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I think not. If yours is the 2018 Genesis G80(JogDial/Premium) Map Update-G115P2 the product number is different. Different part different software program.

u can't download the 2015 premium u have to order it so now its 60 bucks more

Does anyone know (or asked) why is "Order new SD card and USB through mail (shipping costs apply)" not optional?
Also, why is this both SD and USB when update manual only mentions SD card?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I could swear there was a option to use your own SD card.

Only an SD card is included. You can't use your own SD card because the new update requires 32GB, the old card is only 16GB.

Wow, thought I'd be the first to post the update, but you guys beat me to it:). Also, thanks for answering the question about the mandatory SD card for the update...gessH! $200 and some change??!! Oh well, gotta keep the GEnny up to date!;)

So what all changes with the update? I have whatever version was out 2-3 years ago, does the interface change or just the roads and points of interest?

Having a hard time seeing the value if it's just the updated roads and points of interest considering free GPS phone apps

2015 Ultimate system here so obviously no AA or Car play.

In my CPO I just got owner didn't bother updating anything so I think it has version 7 (NAM.07.47...) and I want to get an update just to get 3D maps.

Might bite the bullet and update, said performance improvements as well as POIs and 3d view.

I couldn't for the life of me understand why I had to order a new card and when I called MNSoft, the reps were not able to convey much other than the update was to big to download online (Depends on how large the download is). So when I ordered all you get is one SD card and like the previous poster said the new card is 32GB vs 16. the rendering of the the map seems smoother and the search option seems to work better. They weren't able to give me a changelog which is annoying but to be expected. If they conveyed the reason you needed a new card I think people would understand better but it is what it is.

Present version has not failed me yet o I'll just stick with it. I can always take my Garmin that cost less than this update and has free updates for life. On my last Sonata, the dealer had a sale at a decent price so if they do something for cheaper I may consider. Not to mention, a 32 gig SD card is about $15.

If someone has this "2015 Hyundai Genesis(only touch) Map Update-115S51"...i will pay to borrow it...don't see the purpose in spending $170 on something I'm only using for 30 minutes...if I have to pay for it...i will give out free copies because it bull to spend that much just to make sure our cars stay up to date on top of the money we spend to have the car...

I don't think an update can be applied to more than one vehicle (they have a way to prevent that).

I'm pretty sure there's a way...anything is possible since Equifax got hacked
