  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My name is Sherri and I got my 2023 GV60 in July. I’m very happy with the car although I tripped on the charging cable in my garage and broke my right humerus. After almost 3 months, I finally have most of the use of my arm back and am extremely careful now whenever charging my car!

OMG! I read your two posts and can’t believe your bad luck so far. Hang in there. Maybe consider a new gas fueled Hyundai Tucson Limited. I love mine.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad you found us. And congratulations on your new Genesis GV60! What did the GV60 replace for you?

Sorry to hear about the charging cable accident - but glad to hear you're healing. :o

Thanks for the nice welcome. My GV60 replaced a 2 year old Mazda CX-5. My husband got a BMW iX, a year ago, and I became eager to get a EV.

Nice, so how does the GV60 compare to the Mazda CX-5 and BMW iX?

The Mazda CX5 was a great car but less luxurious and didn’t get good gas mileage. My husband loves his iX but is impressed with the technology of the GV60.

Yes. the GV60 is a nice upgrade from the CX5. The iX is getting a large following...

I was a BMW 530e owner before trading it in for the GV60P. I also test drove an iX. I love the way the iX drives (better than the GV60P) but I couldn't get past the looks (and I prefer a small car and the iX is huge). Leaving looks aside, the iX is an extraordinary vehicle.

But I don't regret getting the GV60P. It is a luxurious little rocketship (about the same length as an X1 but the width of an X3).

My husband agrees that the performance of the iX can’t be beat.
