  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi I’m new to the forum & the endless Genesis lights & sounds flashing! We bought a demo model of the 2021 GV70; just had the frontal warning system failure fixed after 3 months of waiting for dealership to fix it: out of warranty, must have been damage etc. ~ it was a sticker from factory blocking the sensor As noted in the mechanic’s report….

Now on first drive since the frontal warning system was finally fixed & calibration done, the tachometer dial is red/orange flashing? Is it serious? LED light broken? Or could recent calibration cause tachometer dial to malfunction? Thanks for any ideas/suggestions to help one calm down with all these flashing lights & sounds!! Genny ~New on The Block

Genny you are in the G70 sedan area of the site. Maybe post in the GV70 area? Navigating for first timers among similarly named models is understandably confusing.

Thanks will do! technology is the same? Genny

No. The G70 (still on the old platform) has the 'half-a$$' dash, where the speedo and fuel level gauge are analog/fixed. The GV70, with a new platform, is fully digital. The same version of it, but with different colors is on my 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy, and so far no issues, but only 3,500+ miles.
