  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This is my first post. New GV70 owner. Great car with limited USB options.

Background:
Using Android Auto with the USB SS (SuperSpeed) port with Samsung S21 and official Samsung cable.
Unfortunately, the car only has one USB SS port (surprising I think)

Question:

I would like the option to use Andriod Auto along with a USB memory stick with music on it (large CD collection). I tried to use a USB hub that will not work (I don't know if the hub is USB SS compatible, its new so I am assuming it is)

Does anyone know a workaround or suggestion to allow more than one device to work properly with one USB SS port?
Thank you

additional comment: this car 2023 model should have Android Auto and Apple Play using Bluetooth and have USB SS as an option and not a requirement. I have a AAWireles dongle, doesn't work so great.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I am having the same problem i try a few adapter from Amazon and nothing seems to work.

Sorry I am unable to provide any suggestions or solutions, but I am curious with your situation. Is there a reason you'd rather use a USB stick with music loaded on it instead of the music being stored and played from your phone that is connected to the USB SS port?

I have been trying to do this as well. I have a wireless adapter plugged into the USB port and I don't want to just play the music on my phone - and not sure if the quality is as good as a drive plugged directly into the port, so wanted to compare the two. If I unplug the wireless adapter and plug in a stick, then I have to reconfigure the wireless adapter, etc...just not worth it. A hub would be great but if you look at the ones on Amazon, they usually specifically say they do not support charging or AA/CarPlay.
