No. It comes with run flats

I physcially looked in one here at the dealer and in the US anyway there was a spare in the back under the floor.

Keep pulling up on floor panel. It lifts beyond 1st hinge location. Spare has a form fitted cover over it, as well.

I did get to test drive the GV70 3.5T Advanced this week and can confirm that it indeed comes with a compact spare tire.

Yes it comes with a tiny spare. It looks like I was wrong on the run flats. Nitrogen filled Michelin tires.

I had a GV80 with 22inch tires no spare, but had an electric pump and tire sealer under the floor in the rear. My new GV70 has 21 inch tires and a compact spare.

Is there a case to be made for the pump and tire sealer as an addition to the spare? I have a wife who would never change a tire, but if I showed her how to use the sealer she'd be all good with that. And she's the one who will drive this car the most.

I'm not sure if the tire sealer will work on the tire if it's cut on the side.

I'm in the same boat (spouse's drive). The Genesis Enhanced Roadside Assistance is probably the way to go. Not sure in tire sealer option is viable and no way she is changing a tire.

Most have roadside assistance thru insurance and thru Genesis warranty. Don't know which would be quicker response, but good thing would not have to exit car, just make call.

I think the sealer works for most things (nails, etc) not on the sidewall or very large. Might be a nice option to have when roadside says they'll be 2 hours...

Unfortunately the few reviews that are out there ( still odd) do not even touch on the fact that the GV70 comes stock with a spare tire. It's a big deal and many like BMW charge extra for a spare. Also run flats are not a desirable option for me as they ride firmer and are more expensive to replace.

Almost 100% sure they come with a temporary spare tire. That was another notch in favor of the GV70 over the RDX A-Spec for me as the RDX comes with the crappy fix-a-flat.
