  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Top tier Tucson and Santa Fe apparently don't have a spare, just the pump and goop. We haven't completely ruled out the Tucson and would probably buy either the actual Hyundai spare kit (if they'll sell it to us, had a hard time getting the info from dealer), or just a rim and tire, or there are third parties making a "kit". Main advantage of the Hyundai solution is it reportedly comes with the form-fitting foam insert, if that matters.

I was happy to see a real spare in a 2.5T Prestige (Canada). Hadn't found any reference to it so assumed it didn't have one. Am considering the pump and goop (from Hyundai or 3rd party) as an add-on for minor repairs where it could be much faster than waiting for roadside service.

Agree, it doesn't work on sidewall damage, nor on major tread damage.

This shows all GV70 trim levels in Canada to come with a spare.

Thank you. Their info seems so scattered, I don't recall seeing that table. Is it on their website?

I don't recall exactly where I downloaded it from, think it was before Genesis site was updated with current configuarator. But I did get all 11 pages, see below for the other 10.

I find it a bit interesting that the 4 trim packages for the 2.5 model increase the HP by 1 for each package (300, 301, 302 and 303).

I thought that was weird too.
