Bought the Sidesteps through the dealership. Be aware that I noticed that the price varies slightly between different dealers. I think retail is about $700 and wholesale is about $560 and takes about 2 business days to receive. I can get you wholesale prices if you want to pick up 45 minutes north of Los Angeles. My mechanic friend charges $250 for installation if anyone is interested.

I noticed you stayed with the gold coast silver look you had on your ML. Very nice

Ah..yes, very different indeed. I think I saw another post with a gold coast silver gv80 and thought it was yours. Himalayan grey looks good

Mine is Gold Coast Silver, I was just showing how different from Gold it really is. But it really depends on lighting. Every photo I have of it is a different color. It's not Himalayan grey.

Haha oh wow. Yea .. goes to show how different it can be indeed depending on lighting. I didn't look closely enough and thought it was grey!

That happened to be a very overcast day so it was more on the dark grey side, but sometimes it's bronze, sometimes it's gold, sometimes it's silver. It just depends on how the light hits it.

It's going to be very interesting trying to find this thing in a parking lot if it keeps changing colors. I haven't had it out much as I don't drive a lot. My ML only had 28,000 miles on it at 8 years old. So this one will have very low mileage.

Hadn't thought of that but not a bad idea. Or maybe that's why so many people set off their horns where I am. Although I think most of them do that because they are all in rental cars that they forgot what the color was and cannot find the car. But I'll have to see how hard it is to find. Normally I park out in East NoWhere'sVille anyway. So that should help.

Wow. Those are sweet. The GV80 is higher to get in than my Jaguar F Pace was. Something to consider for sure
