Halogen projectors or hid projectors

I have 2011 Genesis sedan with the stock light setup. I just bought the HID ballast and the actual HID bulbs for my Gen. My question is this can I use the projectors that are in the car already or do I need to buy HID projectors. If you look at the HALOGEN VS HID PROJECTOR they look identical. It looks like if you buy the parts you can upgrade it yourself without getting a HID kit. The headlamp is already wired for the Ballast and has a place for it. Im going to try it without buying the retrofit projectors and see how that plays out until I get some confirmation on the projector. If anyone has any insight let me know ?
 
the halogen projectors will work fine. no problems with mine
