  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i took my 2015 genesis to another dealer ship for the hard break pedal , maybe this one can get it right , the first one said it was a small hose that wasnt covered on warranty , i believe its the booster loosing air ( bleeding off )
the first dealer changed this
59130-b1010 hose assy brake booster vac =45.00
59139-2w000 intensifier -vacuum =20.00
plus 135.00 for tech
ill see what this charges

Mine is hard at random times (lol) only on start up tho.

Maybe try using the brake pedal instead?

has it set for a day or 2 ?, if wasnt for my warranty i would dismiss it
No, one day it would be fine the next couple itll stiffen up then it won't do it again for a week. It's totally random. It hasn't caused an issue so far.

There is a check valve of some sort in there. Mine did it for a week and went away. Probably a bit of dirt got in and eventually got sucked in or blown out.

I had this issue on my 2015, rock hard brake pedal in the mornings, seemingly random. Of course vacuum was lost slowly overnight, so letting the car run a bit got the brakes back.

Dealer diagnosed a slow leak at the brake booster, replaced the brake booster and a seal under warranty. Problem never came back.

pick my car up from dealer they had it for 2 days , they couldnt get it to do so i had to pay $140 for diag fee but they said it was good for 6 months so hopefully i get it back in before then, but the problem is it takes about week for it to do then once it does and you start it , its good for another week
ill see thanks

Man, that is a kick in the pills. Just tow it to them next time and add that to the bill.
