Has anyone completely removed the emblem (wing) from the hood/trunk?

I already have Genesis and 5.0 removed from the rear, but was wondering about taking the wing logo completly as well. I believe rear one has holes in them but does that apply to front as well? if so, what would be the best way to cover the holes?

P.S. - I have black car so it may not be too noticeable without holes filled.. hmm.

Only way I did them was solder. Weld is even better if you have access. Fill, file, sand, prime, paint. Painting was the hard part. Back in the day, a lot of guys never got past the primer but you were still cool for doing it to your car.
