  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

With the recent press event in the US, I've found that searching twitter by the #G70 hashtag shows a lot of posts from those at the event, many saying reviews are coming soon, which someone mentioned in another thread that Genesis has stated that nothing could be posted until Monday, July 16th. So, if you're like me and want to consume every last bit of G70 related news/content, this may be a link to keep handy.

If they have the reviews embargoed until Monday the 16th, the release for sales should probably be next week.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I was reading their most recent press release talking about the different trim levels and giving the official, exact specs and noticed a little short paragraph at the bottom of that about 2 limited-run special editions that will be available at release. One is the "Dynamic Edition": havana red exterior, black and red interior, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (instead of just Sport 4), performance brake pads, and a bespoke remote key fob. The other is the "Design Edition": Black Forest Green exterior, cream interior with a dark green dashboard, genesis branding stamped into the headrests, premium cabin air filter, and a bespoke remote key fob....

Needless to say it would be amazing to snatch one of these up if possible at release!!! I'm thinking the red Dynamic Edition!

No need to post identical posts in different threads.

Yeah I realize that... I meant to post it in this one because this one is more about the U.S. release. I accidentally posted it in the other one and there is no way to delete a post. Sorry!

Actually this brings up a good point. There should be a way to delete a post. You can edit it and erase everything but I think you need to leave something or else you get a error. Maybe a blank space or I have seen the words deleted. It would be cleaner if you could just delete whole thing

I made a similar inquiry to Sal recently concerning specific posts being deleted. His response is below. It makes sense to not delete a post(s) which could destroy the continuity of the thread.

"As for editing and deleting of messages - you can edit for a day or so - but after that, no more. What happens is you have somebody come along and delete all their content - and then discussions make no sense. For example, if one of the problematic people comes along and causes a ruckus - and then gets people responding back in anger without quoting - they can delete all their content and have the rest of the group look crazy... It's happened too many times in the past - so editing is limited..."

That actually makes sense and I can really appreciate that fact. I HATE when you're going through threads like these and comments have been "deleted by user"... really makes following conversations difficult. Kudos, Sal. Kudos.

I hadn’t realize there was a deadline for deleting messages. Makes sense.

There is no complete deletion of messages. You can edit the message for a short time period during which you could delete all the content. However, you cannot remove the post in its' entirety. The blank post will remain in the original order it was posted.

I guess I should have made myself clearer. I hadn’t realized that there is a deadline for EDITING messages.
