  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I’ve did lots of research and put a ton of money but the car keeps acting up on me if anyone knows anything are able to point me to the right direction I will really appreciate it!

2011 Hyundai genesis 4.6
Car seemed to be slipping whenever I take off from a red light or stop sign and it will happen randomly not all the time it will happen when about to hit 20mph rpm’s jumpes to 2k and car gives a tug/slip I had no engine light one before but now an engine light came on with codes P0121,P0122,P0123
All throttle body related saying it could be low voltage, faulty throttle body, faulty ECM so I tested the throttle body wires all working perfectly I checked throttle body looks really clean no dirt so I decided to change it I put a new one and clear the code I removed the battery for 5mins as I was told doing that resets or relearns the throttle body but the car seems to still be slipping around 20pmh and 2k rpm I have no engine light on I’ve changed spark plugs, coils, canister purge valve, air filter oil and coolant/ transmission fluid good as well had a mechanic look at it says it’s not the transmission but throttle body which it was replaced and still giving me the same issue but if anyone has any idea what it is please let me know I’m stuck scratching my head can’t figure it out it has a new belt and alternator as well

Sounds more like a transmission issue than a throttle body issue, if it’s revving extra high while in gear and in motion. Maybe have some check the fluid level and/or valve body?
