Hazard Triangle that will fit?

Well I bought some hazard triangles from Amazon, thinking I would put one in my trunk lid and give the rest away to family members... Only they dont fit- either in the box or out of the box they came in. Anyone bought one that actually fits in the holder?

Fit without cover, which I like better as it will reflect when trunk is in the up position as an added benefit.

I think I bought these... tried my best to get them to fit without the box and never could get the thing to snap in.

Maybe my mount area is smaller... I ordered one of the other ones, see if that works... gave my family members the others!

You know, I was thinking - my "mount" has a pretty thick piece of foam in the middle to keep it from rattling I guess.. Maybe i'll have to trim that some
