HD Radio info in dash cluster.

I found an interesting anomaly today.
I have a Signature Package with the AVN 4.5 system, and the 4.3" LCD Dash cluster display.

When listening to FM HD radio, the display will show the HD radio info one number higher than the station.

For Example 105.9 HD1 shows correctly on the Radio display, but in the Dash cluster, it will show 105.9 HD2. If I tune to 105.9 HD2, the Dash cluster shows HD3. It never shows HD1. This is true for all of the FM radio stations with HD that I have preset, ie. 93.1, 94.7, 97.1, 97.9, 104.3, etc... every iteration of HD1, shows as HD2.

Is anyone else seeing this? If so, post your package, and radio.
I have no idea if this is specific to my car, or configuration.

Can anyone else chime in on this? Let me know how you are equipped (Base, Signature, Tech, or Ultimate Pkg.) and what behavior you see.

I have a 2016 AWD V6. I found the same thing as you did.

I have an identical 2016 blue/beige signature with the same problem. This issue was recently discussed in Genesis "Dislikes" thread (starting on page 83). It seems that the error exists on both model years of the G2's.

Which package do you have?

I will open a case on this at my first service.. perhaps it could be solved in a future firmware upgrade.

2015 G2 with signature package. Have the same problem.

I get to my dealer for my first service, and I cover this issue with my Dealer. So... they tell me they need to swap the radio. Really? I'd be very surprised is swapping the head unit solves this.

I'm trying to avoid a swap, but I have also had a few freeze ups that required reset. While not that big a deal, the car is only 3.5 months old. Has anyone else had any update on this?

I'd appreciate any replies.
