  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Does anyone know the OEM manufacturer of the 2016 Genesis headlamp bulb.
I'm thinking it's either D1S Osram or Philips

My money is on Philip. My old 2014 KIA Optima SXL with HID factory headlights had stock Philip 4300k bulbs. I assume that Hyundai uses the same HID bulb supplier.

I don't know for sure but I'm going to guess D1S Osram; that's what they used in the BH sedan.

This is the bulb that I pulled out of my 2015 5.0 Sedan. I can almost guarantee it was the original bulb in the vehicle since they're only 5 years old or so. I replaced my bulbs the other day with Osram Night Breaker Lasers.

Can confirm on my previous post. My old white gen 2 5.0 was totaled last weekend and I replaced it today with the same vehicle but black on black I found pretty close to home. I was able to strip all of my upgrades off of my old car at the body shop since insurance totaled it and is setting it up for salvage. Grabbed my night breakers and installed them in the new vehicle today. Same standard Osram Xenarcs were in the housing so that must be the stock part.
