  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2016 Genesis and the driver's side headlight just went pink. Anyone experience this? I am assuming it will need replacement. Any idea of cost?
Thanks

You're going to need a new HID bulb. How many miles? It is covered 3yr/36k miles.

Part # is 18647-35006. List price is $254.98 from Hyundai.

20500 miles. I hope you are right on the warranty. I always thought bulbs were not warranted. Thanks

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
After a brief search online it looks like there are several HID light bulb replacements running about $100 each.
Quite a few hyundai OEM bulbs for $180

Update. My Hyundai dealer replaced the headlight at no charge, under warranty. FYI, the service advisor told me that they are no longer able to sell or service 2017 or newer Genesis'. However, my 2016 is ok because it is a Hyundai Genesis.
