  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Anyone notice the headrest goes forward and back not just up and down. Just figured this out last night. It's little details like this that make this car special. I've had the car for a week now and I'm in heaven.

As the weeks go by you will find even more little things that makes this car so awesome. Congrats on your new ride... :welcome: to the forum. This is a great site with people who are willing to share information and help each other out.

Wait till you have to change wiper blades. There will be another neat little trick they put in there

Turn ignition on or acc (but don't start), hold the wiper stalk up for a few seconds. Wipers will stand up and allow you to change blades. Pretty sure you can also turn off the ignition and leave them up for snow/ice avoidance.

Please explain how to move them forward and back. I can't figure it out.

It only works in 1 direction - you have to pull it forward. It will then click through a few forward "stops" for the different position detents. If you move it all the way forward, it will drop back to the rear most position when you let go (and then you can pull it forward to where you want it again).

Here you go...

Very cool - I was wondering about this and, as you indicated, it's in the manual:

Also, I tried it and can confirm that you can then keep them in the service/up position (and pulled away from the windshield - but need to manually do that step) and lock the car to avoid them getting "iced over". They don't return to the down position until you flick the wiper control stalk up again or start the car - so make sure to lay the wiper blades back down in contact with the windhield before getting back in the car.
