  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone figured out a way to tilt the headrests forward on the front seats so that they don't slide back as your head pressure pushes them over time?

The design in my old Elantra used to click forward to 3 positions, then go all the way back and you pulled it forward. This one seems to let you tilt it forward, but there's nothing preventing it going back except a tiny bit of resistance to pressure, which yields to the weight of my mighty head after just a few minutes.

Surprised no one else has this issue....

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I'd suggest contacting your dealer and seeing if that's expected behavior (check a new genesis on the lot). If the behavior differs then get them to replace under warranty.

I've noticed this too. I don't usually rest my head on it, but when I do, I like it all the way out/forward. And just leaning back on it with normal weight (not pushing into it) it slides back. I think there just isn't enough tension in the mechanism to really hold it in place.
