  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

All-

I noticed this a few days ago. When the heated seats on the passenger side are on, there is a distinct sound of air being blown. As soon as I turn the heated seats off, it immediately stops. There is zero sound when the drivers side heated seats are turned on. Has anyone else run into this problem? It's not a huge deal, just annoying, and I know it's not normal since it only started recently.

I have the same. According to other posts I have seen this is normal. Not loud at all but with the quietness of the Genesis cabin it can be heard. Definitely not an issue with me.

You sure the sound is coming from the seat and not your passenger?

Seriously, I've used my heated seats on both sides frequently and have never noticed a sound, which actually doesn't make much sense considering there is no air being forced as there is with the "cooling" feature. Could it be "cooling" instead of heating? Maybe the switches are reversed.

You are dead wrong, the heating function also has the forced air feature which can be heard in both heating and cooling modes. It is rather low and the only way I noticed it was my wife asked me what the sound was.
