I have a 2010 Genesis Sedan which is having the heated seats issue.
From what I read I have to put a coil around a tube in the seats to fix this.
Basically the drivers side heated seats turns on then about 20 seconds later it turns off and is unresponsive to turning back on unless i power down the car.
The seat never does heat up, maybe it does but within 20 seconds I can't feel any difference.
The dealer has 0 clue of this fix told me I need to pay 800 for a new seat cushion and possibly an additional 700 for the back cushion. I told him of the reported fix and he was absolutely clueless, and explained if the 1500$ fix didn't' work I'm still liable for this.
Does anyone have any detailed instruction how to fix this, I'm out of warranty and would like to try this myself. thanks
