Can anyone explain to me how the seat heaters work? Do they come on, and go off according to the inside temperature of the car, or?

There is button you press to manually turn it on. On 2009-2014, it is located on center console so driver and passenger can access their own switches. Probably similar on 2015. One press is heat level 1, press again for level 2, press again for level 3, press again for OFF. There are 3 LED's to indicate heat level.
