Heated Steering Wheel?

Do you 2012 owners with the Tech package have a heated steering wheel?
Reason I ask is the just released specs. on the Canadian 2012 list it as a feature At last, toasty palms on winter mornings

If 2012 US had a heated wheel, I would think hard about trading up. I will miss that feature during the winter months. Had it previous car.

It appears to be a Canadian only feature.
It's the least they can do, given the disparity between MSRP's

I'm hoping for a cooled one in the next generation.
Heated is sooo 2011.

Very heavy lights...(LEAD).
Front light emitting diodes in the front headlamp assembly for a daylight running lamp or visual effect- like Audi but Hyundai has a softer, frosted look.

My steering wheel's plenty hot these days. At the rate of heat dissipation it'll probably stay toasty through winter.

Has anyone figured out how to add the heated steering wheel? How much would it cost?

A local dealer in the US said they've never done it and so couldn't really help.

How come no ones offers a cooled or air conditioned steering wheel?

I'm holding out for an Equus driven by chauffeur. That way the temp of the steering wheel is somebody else's problem.

Believe me, this is one of the better features. I had one on my '02 Maxima and it worked fantastic. Lets hope the one on the R-Spec works equally well. Now if they could have higher quality leather on the steering wheel, it would be an extra bonus. I'll be happy enough with warm fingers in January...
