  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just a little post after 4 years of reading all the posts of this great website, just to say goodbye.

I have learned many things from all of you, THANK YOU, now the time has come to change my Genesis 3.8 for a Lexus, for health problems, I have done very few kilometers in these years, only 12,000, and from a simple blow to repair that comment at the time of more than two months for the lack of parts and the "negligence" of the dealer and then the cancellation of sales of Genesis in Europe until, do not know the exact date, has led me to make this decision now.

I have enjoyed during my years of more than 120 cars, of all brands, Genesis is a good car without hesitation, but they have not known how to do it, they should have done it like Toyota with Lexus, highly qualified dealers and used to selling premium cars, with the corresponding advantages for customers who pay a high price.

I prefer to forget about everything, and feeling for Genesis, until never ..

I will continue reading your post, s always learn something new with them, even to be able to explain to the dealer how to fix a software problem that they had no idea about not knowing the codes, thanks to you I could fix it myself.

Thank you and Best Regards for All

Can't blame you for switching to Lexus, I just wish they hadn't ruined the LS by trying to make it "sporty".

What part was your Genesis waiting for?

I almost had to wait more than a month for a tiny steering control module, luckily I bugged them enough that they got the part from another dealership. It does make you wonder though -- what good is a warranty if parts aren't readily available?

Hasta luego, Señor! Vaya con Lexus.

There were several parts, bumper, headlight left hand and suspension support, but when they did they realized that the wheel bearing was wrong, then a sensor, then another sensor ... and of course each element if it was not in Europe I had to come from Korea.

And each time they replaced some sensor they found that the next one was also wrong, EVERYTHING done with a simple TABLET

They simply realized that they were not prepared.

Once in a Mercedes broke the direct injection, they sent a taxi from Madrid to 500 Kms where the car was with all the necessary spare, at the end the metal remains forced to change the whole engine, but in 1 week the engine was changed, I was paid for the plane round trip, two hotel nights, and one Mercedes at the airport

This is quality and responsibility ...

Best Regards
