  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on the new Genesis GV70! What will the GV70 be replacing for your wife? I'm glad you found us. :)

Thank you for the warm welcome. We gave my wife’s 2021 CRV to our college graduate daughter and we are both sharing my Audi.IMG_7178.webp

Nice Audi. And The Honda CRV is a nice vehicle as well. The GV70 a great upgrade. Congratulations. :)

Now here comes the real question, she travels a lot so getting a 2.5 Advanced seems to be the way. But then she loves that blue interior of the 3.5 Prestige (?) so I’m at a loss lol. Price isn’t an issue as I’ve probably spent 1/2 the cost of that 3.5 in my Audi parts wise, just don’t want any issues..

I don't know, I think the better fuel economy is more meaningful than the color of the interior as there are other nice colors. If you/she doesn't need more power, it would be kind of a waste. And truthfully, it really probably IS a waste of gas. If you live in an area where there isn't much traffic, the 3.5 twin turbo V6 would provide some more driving enjoyment. But if there's a lot of traffic, that power can rarely be used anyway. I have a feeling you don't keep cars long term, so the longevity of the bigger motor probably won't matter. Just a few things to consider...
