  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello all, long-time lurker, first-time poster. I have been considering trading in my 2007 Audi A4 for a '10 Genesis V8

Great community here

I expected there to be a large discrepancy between the the tuning scenes for the Gen Coupe and sedan (for obvious reasons) but I find it amazing that almost no one here has done even wheel swaps... the Genesis sedan begs for quality 19"+ rims to really give it some presence (not necessarily large BLING BLING rims).

I was looking into getting quotes for custom, forged 20's from the likes of DPE, HRE or maybe picking up a set of BBS rims, but it's hard to find good fitment info out there and only few choices (outside of budget import rims)

Quality suspension upgrades (Eibach? H&R? Where are you guys?) to tighten up the handling could help the Genesis rival the 5-series / 7-series in driving feel

I really am itching to get into a new Genesis but may have to stand by on the sidelines until the aftermarket catches up a little bit (a suspension and rim upgrades are a must for me).

Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself (and register so I can at least see the pictures ;) )

Just a couple parting shots of my current baby:

Welcome to the forum:grouphug:

I've always been a fan of aftermarket wheels and have had numorous sets for different cars I have owned, but the 4.6 Genesis has wheels that I really like, and are sporty.

When I first bought the car I was going to throw some 19" wheels on, but then realized how much I liked the stock wheels even though I wanted to go one inch larger wheel to get more rigid handling. Since I like the stock wheels, I figured I'd save myself a ton of money by not buying another set of wheels and tires.

I'm hoping to help with that. :D Several spring companies are considering bringing them in. Eibach has a design done, but decided not to put them into production. I'm sure they'd be willing to special order it. I'm going to guess it'll be a money issue from there.

I am confused,,,

If you sunk the R&D why not deliver the product?
