  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello. New here.

That would be killer.
The dark chrome pieces on the car fade out/oxidize too quickly. My car is outside all day.

Not a GT350, but a 2019 Roush Stage 3 Mustang.
710HP and 610TQ.
I'll find out if there's anything new going on relating to those overlays.

Ahh, nice. Roush Mustang... I know what it's like to have that kind of power on the ground. To be honest, it made me appreciate racing back in the 90s. Nowadays, 2 seconds and the race is over (most of the time).

So, I waited until after supper last night to wash my G70.
Weather reports,.....clear of rain for at least 3 or 4 days. Okay, cool, I'll wash it.

I wake up to this,...........
(lots of very bad words were said.) lol

Oh. man... At least it still looks good wet. But driving will suck now... Here in Florida we have to worry about sunny days - because sprinklers are on in communities... It's so difficult to keep a car clean here...

Here is one from work today,...
Pretty much my parking spot at work. lol

Gave the G70 a nice bath today, about 90 minutes ago when it cooled down and the sun was out of the driveway.
I'll have to get some photos tomorrow morning.

Ideal conditions last night for a wash.
Photo taken this morning after fueling up and food shopping.

Dirty, but still beautiful.
She'll be getting a nice wash this weekend.

A little over two years now - and she still looks brand new. That's a quality automobile...

Got my appointment set for tomorrow at 10 am for my complimentary oil/oil filter change and cabin air filter change. Currently sitting at 17,101 miles.

I did get a call from one of the managers there reminding me of the appointment and to ask if I am interested in getting a '26 G70. My 3 year lease is up very early July of 2026. I told her, thank you, but I think I may keep this car. It's been really good so far and I'm ahead on my payments. I also told her that the deal would have be a smoking deal for me to be anywhere interested and she said she could make that happen. But in my mind, I already know that I am keeping this one.

Amazing how they're always pushing a new car purchase. I'm surprised you don't have to deny a new car purchase before using a water fountain at the dealership. I wonder what they're going to offer you.

LOL

I had two sales associates come up to me while waiting for the oil/oil filter and cabin filter change as I was walking around killing time.
One was a little bit more aggressive than the other and said if I wanted to test drive anything that they had, to let her know. They had a GORGEOUS '26 GV70 in the showroom all dolled up. Unyi White with Vanilla/Beige interior, 3.5t Sport Prestige awd. It was gorgeous. I wanted it.
Sticker price was 73k though.

$73k...... :o

So, a little back story. Not really a big deal, but customer service everywhere is getting crappy. It could have been the service advisor that maybe didn't tell the technician to do what I had asked, or the technician totally forgot about it.

Anyways, when I get the text from the service advisor about how everything went the following day, I told him about the tire pressures. I had three tires @37psi and one tire at 35psi. He writes back about 10 minutes later stating that those are "within the 40psi requirements" and that 35psi for the front and 37psi for the rear is acceptable.
LMFAO
Ummmm,.....yeah. LOL
Not even close. Not a real big deal, but since I was taking it in, I figured it would only take them a few minutes to air up to proper psi while the car was up in the air, draining the oil. Oh well, too bad.
