  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi everyone:

Simply thought I’d say hello. Just purchased a 2015 Pearl White with gray interior. It only has 31K miles on it, however, will take a weekend getting the interior clean and maybe even another for clay bar, seal and wax.

I’m pretty excited about it as I’m sick and finding a car with a front seat that would go very low in car I liked (and could afford) was not easy.

Best,

SJ

Welcome & Congrats. Hope she cleans up well. Glad you found something that fits your needs. Enjoy

You will find it to be very comfortable, especially on long rides. Enjoy your new ride.

Cold ones are always appreciated!

So, I am loving the car so far, but have been fighting with Sirius as it just doesn't seem to be taking. Four calls, many text message reboots later, and when I turn the car off, it never hooks back up. Sirius is telling me I have a bad chip or module or something... :(

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
you don’t say whether you purchased your genesis from a dealer or private party, if the former take it in and explain your dilemma.
Myself never wanted the problems Sirius seemed to have.

Ok, I'm not sure where my reply went... this forum does not seem to get along with my damn iPhone 8 for some reason...

Dealer; already contacted sales person.

The long commercials on regular radio kill my mojo.

In addition, I had a band for 12 years, so I crank it up on Hair Nation all day at home.

Saw Slaughter and Autograph at State Fair last week -- hearing si almost back...:headbang:

Not good. Had the same problem and they replaced the head unit. Hope you are under warranty,

Same problem with my 2015 genny. Known issue. Replaced the head unit under warranty. Remind dealer to update lines on backup camera after they replace it.

Thanks for all your help! Hope to get it in next week.

Noticed this... bickering that it should have been fixed before I took Delivery of a certified car...

So the Stealer has agreed to do something to repair this.

I wonder what they are thinking. Looks to me like it needs to be glued with something like Epoxy, but I don’t know if that will eat into the plastic bumper and then been seen from the outside. I temporarily stuck a couple of bolts and nuts with fender washers on each side to fill the two holes on the bottom and pull the fender back in a bit. Any ideas?

In addition, is it hard to remove the Genesis, 3.8 and HTrack from the rear trunk?
