  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have had my manual Genesis Coupe 2.0T for about a month now.

The first thing to do on my list is to tint the windows. Unfortunately, I have nothing else on the list to do. I don't really know much about cars but it's something I want to take interest into. All I know so far is that I want to change the exhaust but I have no idea where I'm supposed to go nor how to do it. Any suggestions on what to do to the car and where I'm supposed to go?

Let's see...18 years old, just got a $22K Genesis Coupe Turbo, don't know nothing about cars. I wouldn't worry about "tricking out your new ride". My recommendation...enjoy the new car, kick back and relax, watch the posts on this forum, and find a friend who has grease under his finger nails and smells like a garage. When I was your age I was driving my Dad's hand-me-down 1972 Volvo 144 w/dual SU carbs (those suckers are a bitch to tune properly without a flow bench!). Hell, I didn't earn $22K until my second year out of college (of course $22K back then is about $43K in today's dollars after adjusting for inflation). I was so "poor" I had to have Mom and Dad co-sign the loan when I bought my 1985 Saab 900 Turbo. When you find that friend with greasy nails, watch, listen and learn. Then go start playing around with your brand new Coupe.

at work i installed the lower spring kit and a spoiler. these are both availible at factory.
i think they are also coming out with a stiffer anti sway bar for front and rear.
