  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hey,
need a little help before taking into the shop. I was taking a left turn in the rain, drive wheel spun a bit and traction control turned on. After that, I had no brakes. The pedal goes to the floor before grabbing.

Could it be the master cylinder or the ESC? Anyone have this issue?

Any help is appreciated.

If you've got (or had) a soft brake pedal, it's the HECU aka ABS module. Get it checked out.

Thanks. I have narrowed it down to that. I saw a youtube video where the guy bought an ABC Control Module from a junk yard and just swapped out the computer for it. Is that legit?

I don't see why not as long as it is compatible. I know people that have done it on other cars and saved a bundle of money.
