  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2010 Hyundai Genesis sedan 4.6 L and I was driving yesterday and all the sudden it starts misfiring . So I plugged the code reader into it and it says 135 and 7 cylinder misfire what would cause that please help

:welcome: to the forum

Please always post the all of the complete code number(s) in the format P####

Is that a P0301, P0303, P0305, and P0307 misfire -- i.e. the entire bank of all four cylinders 1, 3, 5, and 7? Or a P0135 code *AND* a misfire on just cylinder 7 (P0307)?

Fun part is the P0135 is a bank 1 O2 sensor heater code, which could throw off the ECU and potentially cause misfires on all bank 1 cylinders, which just happen to be 1, 3, 5, and 7. And that's why specifics matter. ;-)
