Help...Rear Passenger door can't open from inside or outside.

SOLVED!!!! The rear doors on my 2015 Genesis wouldn't open. If on your remote you press and hold lock and unlock simultaneously for about 5 to 10 seconds, you will see your lights flash 2 or 3 times. Then on the remote press the unlock button. You can repeat this but press the lock button if you want to keep them locked. I guess it's a safety feature that someone can't get in your back seat when your getting in your car.

I don't believe that is at all related to the rest of the thread... and what you are describing is also configurable within the car feature & function menus as well.
