Help with name of exterior car part

Hi guys I was trying to find out the name of the item shown in blue in the picture, it's near the rear of the vehicle, and also if anyone knew the material it's made out of, steel, brushed aluminum, etc.. thank you!

Thank you, are you saying that the metal piece highlighted is part of that whole assembly you linked, you can't replace just the metal trim? You'd have to replace the whole panel with the glass? Also do you happen to know what material that metal looking part is made of? Reason i ask is because mine has deep scratches and I'd like to replace it or fix it

I think it's chromed plastic. I don't have a tool handy to test it.

It's all one piece with the glass.

Odd you have to replace the whole assembly and the trim piece does not just un-clip like most window trim parts do? I’m guessing it must be bonded to glass somehow? Pisser for what should be a $21.00 part is now several hundred.

Could be some other cheap alloy but yes, metal.

Lots of used LH Quarter Windows down to $50. 2015-2017. Search for - (Year) - Hyundai - Genesis - Sedan - Glass, quarter window. Many of these salvage yards will consider an offer.

You can try placing a magnet against it to rule out steel and other ferrious metal. However, my money is on chromed plastic.
