Help with Replacing Trunk Emblem

I just purchased my first 2015 Genesis 3.5L and I decided that I wanted to change out the trunk emblem. My first mistake was removing the emblem before the new one arrives ( it should be coming in tomorrow) however, I ended up scratching the back of it a bit... the new one that I ordered has tabs on the back and, as a junior in college, my tool kit is comprised of a basic tool kit I received last Christmas. So, we'll see how this goes.

With that being said, I need advice on how to I get the tabs off and how do I put the new emblem on properly and not screw up my car?

Check this thread out for sure.
The tabs are best removed with a dremel.
Ensure you have a clean surface with etoh preparation.
Use painters tape to align the badge on the back, then apply the supplied double sided tape.
