  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Can't help!

Genesis owners,

I am the proud owner of a 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan 5.0. I am and have been looking for a cold air intake for my vehicle. Is there anyone out there that can help?

What exactly are you needing help with? Install? Shopping? Best one?

Cold air intakes prove little gain and gain that is to be had is mostly near the top end. If you speed a lot of time near redline, go ahead. If it is for aesthetic reasons, I'm sure it'll look a bit better than the stock setup. If it is for performance reasons, I suggest holding onto your money. You made the post so your mind is probably already made up.

Here is a link to multiple intakes for the 5.0. http://www.autoanything.com/air-intakes/Hyundai/Genesis/111A50208A50096A0A34A10057A1.aspx

Which one is better? That's a question of who you ask. I use drop-in K&N filters because I think the stock setup on most cars usually has one of the best routes for air to get to the intake which is why I use drop-ins. People will say performance filters let a tremendous amount of contaminants pass through the filter and into the motor itself. Go ahead and buy the one you think will benefit you the most for which ever reason you are getting it. Hope this helps.
