  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a few paint chips on my front bumper and hood so I was looking around Amazon for a paint touch up marker...there are hundreds of different shades of white and finding a shade to perfectly blend in on my "Uyuni White" color is impossible. Spots of white paint on my car that doesn't match the OEM color would just be too ugly. Luckily I found THIS! Sold by GENESIS, they use your VIN# to identify your exact color and send you a marker of your exact factory Paint and Clear Coat. Figured a lot of you might be interested in getting one even just to have it for future, also sold on the HYUANDAI STORE.

Good find! Definitely great to have them offer it and match to the vin

Those are sold through the dealer, and should be much cheaper. List price on them is $20.99, which is what most dealers charge for them.

I asked a dealer locally for one, Himalayan Gray, and the parts man brought it to my car to check match, then said "don't bother coming inside to pay, just keep it."
@GarnetTy1473 How about that.

I do that every once in awhile for a good customer. Usually end up billing it to shop supplies. They never notice.

I been looking for a touch up paint pen and surprised not more options out there.

Bought a "Genuine Hyundai" paint pen and been pleased with the results.
Now if they would produce a wheel color match pen?
