  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

First like to say this looks like a great site. I just bought a 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8. It has a Salvaged title as it was hit front passanger fender / door. Of course there are some problems I knew I would find in time after driving the car for a while. Anyway can someone tell me where the lock out button for the passenger window is located. When I bought it window worked ok. I cleaned the inside of the car and now passenger window will not go up /down with the door shut using the switch on either door. If I open the passenger door the window works from both switch. I know I had to hit a lock switch just can't find it. Thanks to you all. When I got the car my wife told our kids I was trying to recapture my youth. I just smiled as I slide into the drivers seat and hit the road. Thanks to you all and have a great day

Lockout is on the drivers door below mirror adjustment switch. Has picture of a window with a X thru it.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what's going on with mine. That one locks drivers side door. The mirror if set on lock will lock passenger side door. The one that locks the drivers side door will unlock both once they are both locked. Drivers side windows works right. I can open and close passenger side window from both power window buttons as long as the passenger door is not closed. Once the passenger door opens far enough that the lights come on the window switchs work. If after reading this your not confused I sure am.
