I bought my Genesis in June 2010. I traded a modified 350-Z and a 2008 G-37 for the Genesis (Sold the Z privately and lemoned the Infiniti!). Tonight, I was invited to a car show that featured only Zs and Gs and was amused to discover that the Genesis was the hit of the show!! Everyone was totally enthralled with it and it wasn't even entered in the show! It made my day! I have always driven sports cars and have NEVER owned a FWD car. I also get bored with them after a couple of years. I've only kept one car for more than 2 years-My 1994 Supra which I had for 8 years. I will be keeping the Genesis until the wheels fall off! I adore it! It's like the Z and G got married! Comfort AND handling all in one car! I have talked 3 of my friends into getting a Genesis instead of an Infiniti and they all LOVE them! I have had the car for 2 years now and I still love it as much as the day I bought it. My husband is happy (and I think surprised) that I'm not looking at new cars. The only new car I've really wanted to see is the Veloster! I guess it's fair to say that Hyundai has stolen me from Nissan!!! One of my Z friends wanted to know if the Genesis would drift! I'm assuming yes, but not willing to try! I'm over that!

Hyundai seems to have stolen me from Nissan too, as well as Honda. We do love our '09 Taurus, though.

Thank you for the welcoming messages! I, too, have a fondness for Fords! I've had 3 Mustangs over the years and loved them all! I had to get rid of my 350-Z because I had lower discs in my back that kept getting worse and worse. It broke my heart. I loved it and it ran perfectly. I literally cried when it drove away. My Hyundai salesman bought it so I see it everytime I take the Genesis in for servicing! Oh well, at least it got a good home!
