HID color changes from white to yellow!

I know, I am way late on this but that is not true. I have had 10,000k HID's in multiple vehicles and they never ever got anywhere near yellow. EVER!! They are White with a darker blue hue to them.

I'll add to the lateness by saying 10,000K is no where near white, it's very very very blue.
Are there any good 12v sources to connect to up front other than the jump leads? since the battery is in the damn trunk.

There are hook up in the engine compartment on the passenger side on my 2012 Genesis 3.8 Sedan, right behind the air filter housing.
